Cryptobeta is a paste of β-cryptoxanthin concentrate derived from the pulp of juiced (squeezed) Satsuma mandarin.
β-cryptoxanthin is expected to reduce body fat, improve dark spots (lighten the skin), inhibit melanin synthesis (lighten the skin), increase bone formation, decrease bone resorption and improve liver function, all of which contribute to maintaining good health.
All of the Satsuma mandarins used for Cryptobeta are produced in Japan.
Forms of the product
We offer Cryptobeta in 2 forms: a paste type Cryptobeta for adding into general food products, and powdered Cryptobeta for health food products.
Effects on energy metabolism
Participants with pre-metabolic syndrome took 1 mg/day of β-cryptoxanthin (Cryptobeta product) for 12 consecutive weeks. Their total cholesterol levels decreased significantly.
Based on the above, we can expect Cryptobeta to have beneficial properties that can lower LDL cholesterol.
